Here are a couple new designs. The design in the middle is for a preschool in Kansas. Their director had the brilliant idea to do matching blogs for all of the classes, changing out the words only. I also colorized their existing black and white logo, which you see at the bottom.

One more item of business, I never announced the winner for the below contest here on the blog, but I did announce it on my Facebook page. If you're wondering who won, go check it out there! We actually had TWO winners!

It's time for a Pink Armchair giveaway!

Yesterday I mentioned that if you aren't a fan of Pink Armchair Designs on Facebook, now is the time to become one! In order to win this giveaway, it will help if you are a Facebook fan. There are three ways to enter the giveaway and a choice of two prizes for the winner!

The Prize
The winner will receive either one DELUXE blog design or one custom name painting.

How to Enter
You have four possible ways to enter and can have up to four entries.

First, everyone who is a Facebook fan of Pink Armchair Designs is entered in the contest. You don't even have to do anything except become a fan to get an entry. If you already are a fan, you're already entered!

Second, suggest Pink Armchair Designs on Facebook to your friends. You can do this by going to the Pink Armchair page and clicking on "Suggest to Friends" underneath the Pink Armchair picture. Comment on the Pink Armchair fan page to let me know you did this. Even if none of your friends become fans, you get an entry just for suggesting!

Third, put Pink Armchair Designs in your status update. Make sure you link to the PAD fan page by typing "I love @Pink Armchair Designs!" (or something like that) into your status area. You must have the @ sign in order for it to link to the page. Comment on the Pink Armchair fan page to let me know you did this.

Fourth, if you don't have a Facebook account or if you'd just like an extra entry, blog about the contest with a link back to this entry. Make sure you leave a comment here on my blog to let me know you did this.

Promote Your Page Too

Usually I only share blog designs on here, but I thought I'd share with you some pictures of a painting I recently did. This is a 10"x 20" acrylic on canvas custom name painting. Grayer is my cousin's baby who will be making his grand entrance in September. This painting was done to coordinate with his bedding and I was REALLY happy with how it turned out...especially for my first time! If you're interested in ordering something like this, contact me and we can work something out. Since I'm still learning, I'd love to have some guinea pigs to practice on.

Here are a few designs I've done this summer. I still have a couple in process and a few on the waiting list, but I'm almost caught up. Now is a great time to add your name to the list if you're thinking of a new design for a new school year.
